codebar hack day with Mondo

At codebar, we’ve been asked many, many times, “when are you going to run a hack day?” The time has finally come! We are partnering up with Mondo to give you a day full of APIs and hacking.

Mondo is a bank as smart as your phone. With instant notifications, completely up to date transaction data and personal spending analysis. What’s even more exciting is using their API to build awesome things with our own banking data!

The hack day will be on the 5th March. There, we will enable you to learn more about APIs and to use Mondo’s API to bring your ideas to life. The day will include talks, a crash course on APIs and an afternoon full of coding with your team. Can’t think of an idea right now? No need to panic! The Mondo team will be on hand to give you some suggestions.

Unlike our other events, there will be a small entry barrier for our students. You must be familiar with APIs and version control. But… there is still time for you to catch up! You can always work your way through the API tutorial, and also learn about git and version control in our upcoming workshops.

You will be working in a team, so it’s important that you can use git to share your code.

But wait, there is more! On the day Mondo will also offer you the opportunity to sign up for their Alpha test and get a Mondo card, helping you take control of your finances and skipping their 30k long waiting list. Please note that the Alpha test only supports iPhones with iOS 9.
